What is Microfluidics?

Microfludics is an advance technique for healthy sperm selection where highly motile & physically normal sperm with good DNA are separated from semen sample to be used in IVF for fertilizing eggs.

The Genetically & physiologically good sperm display higher ability to move (motility), thus this principle is used to separate most healthy sperms from semen sample with a specialized sorting technique called Microfluidics.

At Akruti IVF we conduct Semen function analysis (SFA) & DNA Fragmentation index test to diagnose the health of the sperm & provide appropriate medical intervention to improve the sperm quality & later combine Microfluidics sorting to get the healthiest sperm.

It has been scientifically proven by research that healthy sperm selection done via microfluidics has higher egg fertilization thus better quality embryos.
